Puppy Adventures! Chapter 2

Today I tried to get Moses, my 5 month old Jack Russel puppy, to jump on to a chair then jump to my window sill. This is more like what happened. ( Translating for Moses)

Kait: Come on Moses.

Moses: I can’t do it mom.

Kait Thinks.

Kait shows Moses a treat.

Kait: Moses, if you jump on the chair I will give you a treat.

Moses thinks it over.

Moses: Okay mom.

Moses trys and falls flat on his back x5.

Moses: I just can’t do it.

Kait puts treat on the chair.

Moses jumps, made it!!

Moses grabs the treat and jumps back down.

Moses: Thanks.

Lips smack as Moses demolishes the treat.

Kait groans.

Kait puts another treat on the chair.

Kait: Try again.

Moses jumps on to the chair.

Kait grabs Moses and pulls him inside.

Kait: So much for training. And they are supposed to be atheletes.

Moses just finishes his second treat.

Moses: So, lets try it again.

Todays News

If you read about the wild fire on another one of my posts, then you know that it was big fire, and if you haven’t I am telling you now. It was a BIG fire!!! So big that the fire fighters don’t think it will be completly put out until a hard rain or even the first snow!!! I hope it does not start up again. The fire fighters still have to stay with it 24-7.

The fair that we have every year is coming up. From Thurs-Sun. They have neat rides and animals. We saw them setting them up at the fair grounds. Last year my dad got me to go on the Zipper. It is a ride like a ferris weel except when you go up your basket that you sit in starts to flip!! It was scary! I want to do it again though. Next year I am going to get a sheep and keep it at our friends house and I am going to enter it into the fair. Won’t that be fun. I just can’t wait!!

Puppy Adventures! Chapter 1

Today Moses learned that he had a bark that he thinks is big dog a bark. So every time sombody passes by he thinks he needs to scare them off. Not that anybody even notices his barking, even though he thinks that he needs to do his “big dog bark”. Moses is a Jack Russell, a little dog who thinks it’s a big dog. Moses is a complete Jack Russell. There is not one thing that would let you believe that he not a complete Jack Russell. He has got the look, the spirit, the likeness of digging, and the bark. Just look at him. Can you tell? Look how innocent he looks. He really isn’t though.

Mo-Mo (Moses)

We have a cat and 2 dogs. The cat, named Wazzu, is my moms, one dog named Lucas, is my dads, Moses, is mine. Moses is only 4 monthes old. He was born April 17. It is a big responsibility to have a dog. You have to clean out his kennal, make sure he has plenty of food and water, and make sure he is getting exersise and that he is happy 24-7. I have taken pretty good care of him. There are days where he is out all day and there are days when he is out for only an hour a day. I am getting better at taking care of him. It is hard to keep up with him, but it’s worth it!!!

Isn’t He Cute?!!!

Wild Fire Outside of Colfax!!!

All of Colfax is filled smoke from the wild fire that started yesterday and is still going on today as I write this. We heard fire fighters get to work around lunch time yesterday. We do not have cable so we do not watch the News. They would fill with water and use it all and come back to refill. We had no idea what was going on! We would here them come by every hour. When my father came home with the news that if you go out across the streets you could see the fire. My parents went to see and all they saw was a bunch of smoke. The fire started coming closer and was only about 3 miles away. The fire turned east, away from Colfax. The fire started on one side of the river, crossed the river, over the bridge taking the bridge with it, leaving the fire fighters on the other side of the river with no way of getting across. They had to take the long way around the river. The fire is still growing strong. I hope that they get it put out. No, I pray that they get it put out.

Little Brother Trouble And How To Solve It!!!

I have switch from WordPress to Blogspot for easier use. So it looks like I wrote all of these blogs today but I wrote Shoes? on Sat.
I have four little brothers and lots of trouble. I have to pick up after them all the time until my mom came up with a solution. Every time I see them not cleaning I take somthing away and put it in this box and if they cry it goes away for good. If they continue to not clean then I keep taking toys away until they learn to clean up there room properly. Once they clean there room excellently without me having to take somthing away they can choose to take one toy out of the box. It works like a champ!!!

Shoes?

Hi, My name is Kaitlyn. I am 11 years old and I am homeschooled and in the 6th grade. I live in WA. My father is in the Navy so we will only live here for 2 more years. My mom owns a online store called Cubbyskids.com Baby Store. I am in the progress of making my own site called KaitsBeadBarn. This morning after I woke up, I got dressed and went upstairs and got my shoes on to go across the street to take care of the dogs I am taking care of while there owners where gone. As I was walking up the million steps they have up to there house I looked down and saw how dirty my shoes where. Of coarse it is the summer time and we all like to go and play in the yard, but I have only had these shoes for two monthes. I was wondering how grown ups can keep their shoes decently clean. They walk in them every day to go to work don’t they? Then I thought of how toddlers and babys keep there shoes so clean to? Maybe they hide shoe cleaner and polish under there pillows and at night they take care of there shoes. Maybe the grown ups do the same thing? Do you thing so? I will go check in a few minutes and inform you this evening. Have your parents check out PlatyPaws Baby Shoes. These shoes are great for little guys just learning how to walk!
