So, for the talent show which will be held in May I’m doing something. As y’all can probably guess, I’m playing piano. 4 times. Yes, 4. Once for my brothers to sing “Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star”, 2 for a dance recital my friend and her class is doing. And one for me.
I’ve been roaming around, trying desperatly to find a song that is at my playing level, yet quick and skippy. I’ve got a couple in my mind. But I really wanted to play “My Little Buttercup” from “The Three Amigos”. The sheet music apparently doesn’t exist. I looked everywhere and couldn’t find it.
But then I came across this song which was written my the same person. I’m going to try to do this one.
So, lets see if I can learn this song in time, or if I’ll be stuck playing “Mary Had A Little Lamb”
Yes, the head bullitan is true; it is snowing right here in Florida. And has been snowing for about a half an hour. Yeah, I’m very proud of Florida for breaking it’s agreement to keep me warm, and throwing ice all over my head. It’s been 40 years since it last snowed in Florida. In the 2 years I’m gonna live here, it snows.
Yeah, it’s great.

This is just not right. Snow…Florida…they just don’t mix. Though, I must say, if it’s going to be cold, there’d better be snow. I’m just getting what I wanted…or am I? Snow means that everything is going to shut down, so we won’t ba able to go get anything we need. Sleet means that outside is off limits due to the death sicles falling out of the sky. 31 degrees means lots of hot chocolate and friends coming to steal it. And cookies. We can’t forget the cookies. Cookies rock, for goodness sake!
So…we’ll see what happens. Maybe we’ll just get a bunch of cold and wet rain…but maybe we’ll get some of that oh so wonderful white stuff.
By the way; is it just me, or does the phrase “Ice Pellets” make you think of the sky pooping?
Ultimate. U.F. Whatever you wanna call it. It’s fun. And dangerous. Especially when a frisbee is thrown at 70 miles per hour and you block it with your mouth. Yes, it is not a myth; that does actually hurt. Trust me, I know.
It also is painful when a towering giant falls on top of you, barely missing destroying your stomach with it’s knee on it’s way down. Or when you get stuck linked to someones arm and are dragged around…You get the picture.
It’s fun, though, to stand be allowed to get in someones way without being yelled at. Scratch that. Being allowed to get in someone’s way. Period. Sometimes you still get yelled at. =)
We have been playing ultimate for about 3 months now. It’s been a lot of fun, and we have gotten a lot better since we began! Here is a video I made…enjoy and tell me what you think!

So, I did a photo shoot for my friends, Becky and Liz, on Saturday. They insisted on taking me out to eat as payment; I chose La Ha(short for the mexican resturant down the way). I should have known it was coming. I’m with Lizzy. Crazy, silly, make-fun-of-you-in-public Lizzy, and Becky; her evil sidekick. They pull out the camera to get a “group shot” right as the guys come out with my “awesome hat”. They start singing in Spanish, which, by the way, I didn’t understand them though I’ve been taking Spanglish for about 4 months now. =) The entire time I was yelling at Lizzy, as you can tell by the picture.
They gave me this desert thing, which was gross so I let Liz and Becs eat it.
So, my friends have prevailed to get me to wear a giant purple hat in public. When the three guys were done singing, our waiter says “wow, your face is red.”
Gee, thanks Mr. Mexican dude, I’ll be sure to stop here again for my next birthday.
So, even though I don’t turn 15 until Thursday, I’ve already had a funny celebration…and humiliation.
I have em’braced’ the future. I’m not very comfortable at the moment. My mouth aches. And I won’t be able to eat anything that I have to chew for a while. Ach. But, I am on my way to straight teeth. And my rubber bands are fun to play like a guitar. haha…
