I’m starting a once a day 1 minute writing assignment because my mom says so. So, here we go.

Today’s writing prompt comes from The One-Minute Writer. She encourages us to write for just a minute. If you decide to participate in The Creative Word please leave a link to it below if it’s a blog or go ahead and write your response in the comments – don’t worry about grammar, no body’s gonna judge you. It isn’t about perfection. I encourage you to write, even if it isn’t online. Write with a pen and paper. Write in the sand and then wipe it away. Be funny, be serious, open up your heart, be you and just write.

Here is today’s writing topic -Tomorrow you get the mail, and in it you find the best letter you can imagine. What does it say?

Dear Ms. Kait,

It is my privilege and honor to inform you that you have
just won an all paid for trip to Nevada for your family and 5 other families of
your choice, and $10,000 to give to a charity of your choice! You and the
families of your choice will be staying in large ranch house in the heart of
Nevada where you will live for a full 2 months! Along with the ranch house will
be a stable full of horses for you to ride when ever you please and trails to
the river where you will find a large rope swing that swings over the river,
mini-water fall, and more! All meals and room maintenance provided!
