What kind of lady should I be?

First of all, I going to say this. You really need to pay attention to who your going out with because that person is possibly going to be the leader of your family. Is this boy going to make a good leader? Will he make good choices not just for him but for you too?
Also, just because it says to be submissive doesn’t mean to bow at his feet and do his every will. It means to recognize that he is the leader of your family and respect that.
Leader – one that leads or guides, one who is in charge or in command of others.
Notice that the word guide is in that definition. That must mean that his job is to guide you in the right way. After reading the verses above you may be thinking “Wow, that’s a lot of stuff I have to do” but think about the men. On their sholders is the weight of everything. They have to practice over and over again until it is a habit to be the 1 Timothy 3:2-4, 7 kind of man. If you think that sounds hard then think about this – a man also has to provide for his family, make sure they have clothes, food, shelter, and safety. Not only that, but he will also want to get you what ever you want. That is a lot of stuff for a man to take care of. God put man as the head of a family, so our job is to acknoledge and respect that. That means if your husband says your moving to Africa, your moving to Africa, and you should follow him without doubt or fussing about it. See how important it is to choose carefully who you go out with? Your going to want someone who doesn’t move to Africa because he want’s to, but because it’s best for the family. Before marrying someone your going to seriously have to think if your ready for the duty of a wife, and if the man is ready to be a husband, because that’s a lot of changes for both of you. Are you ready for them???

I will start with
What kind of man should I seek?
Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own family and see that his children obey him with proper respect.
He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devils trap.
1 Timothy 3:2-4, 7
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church– for we are members of his body. After looking at theses verses you may know notice that God doesn’t want it to be “Hey, your cute, lets get married.” God seems to wants us girls to find the right guy. He has even told us what to look for. Do you think God would give us and overview of what kind of person we should marry if it didn’t matter? I don’t think so. It’s obvious to me that God wants us to take this relationship thing pretty seriously. Sure, you can say that you’ll marry a man with blond hair and green eyes and stands 6 feet tall, but what if that’s not what God had in mind? What if you meet a man who is bald, and only 5 feet tall, but has everything that 1 Timothy 3: 2 says? Are you willing to give up handsome for Godly?
Is this young man a Christian, will he follow God at all costs? Is this boy going to help you grow stronger in faith and love, will he be able to be a rock to lean on in times of trouble? Will this knight be temperate, selfless, respectable, hospitable, and gentle at all times? Those are some questions you should ask yourself.
Well, there’s the first part. Next time we I will write about what we(us girls) need to be.
Ok, yesterday I had a board game/Christmas party get together at my house. It was so fun!!! Taylor, Sarah, Jordon, Victoria, and Spencer came and played. We played Apples to Apples and Charades. Here are some pictures I got of us having lots of fun.
