Hmm. How to begin?
Well, Tuesday my mom was sick, as well as 2 of my younger brothers. So, unfortunately we did not go to co-op.
We were kind of bummed out, but understood and excepted why. Still hoping to be able to make it to P.E., we started asking if she would just take us then(P.E. starts at 2). “Maybe” was her answer, but then Ben(4) became feverish and we knew it wasn’t going to work.
Then my dad got home at around 1:00, surprisingly. I asked him if he wouldn’t mind taking us to P.E., expecting the answer no. “Sure!” was his reply. Ok, wasn’t expecting that, but hurray!! We got ready to go, and left at around 1:45. We got there about 10 minuets early, and talked to the few people who were there. People from co-op showed up in the middle of stretches(as always) and joined us. We did the normal push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, and the mile run. Finally it came to the time that made P.E. worth it, Volley Ball. Us girls finished our run before the boys, so we started out practicing our passes, and such. When the boys finally showed up, we did the same thing with them. At 3:30, we started our first game, which we won barely. This time I could hit the ball, but I was still having trouble on my aim, so usually it went flying over to the right. Whoops. All of the sudden Coach says “Alright, this side has 23(us), this side has 24(them). We’ll go to 25 and then switch sides.”
So we serve and it goes over the net and nobody hits it. One more point for us. Then they serve. I’m at the front-right corner, not a very good place to be when you haven’t ever hit the ball over the net. I say “Don’t come to me, ball” under my breath. It must of not heard me ’cause it came flying right at me. “Oh great”, I think. I take a step back, get in position, and hit it…over the net it goes! They hit back over and Joshua(middle) jumps over and hits it back over the net. Spencer goes for it…miss! We win!! Now we switch sides and what-not. In the very beginning of that game Katie leaves, and shortly after that Lizzy and Josh leave too. My dad joins in, and we win again. I learned how to serve correctly in that game. That’s good.
I had a lot of fun, as usual. We’ll do it again on Tuesday, and may be I’ll be able to get the ball over the net. Maybe…
Today we had a 4-H project to work on at our 4-H leaders house. She lives about 15 miles outside of town, and has a very nice country home. We went with some friends of ours who also picked up Ele and Korbin who live down the street from us. We get there a half and hour early and nobodies really there, so us kids go in the backyard and start messing around. They have a mini zip-line in their backyard which was about 20 feet long and 9 feet high at the starting point. So we’re all messing around on it, and people keep showing up until we have about 20 kids lined up for this tiny zip-line. I went on it twice and was done, it was kinda boring and definitely wasn’t worth the 10 minute wait. Eventually everybody got there and we did our project(we made a compost pile) and everything. Afterwards we were told that there was a surprise out in the barn.
The surprise was a zip-line that started in their barn loft, about 40 feet off the ground, and ended about 90 feet away. Of course I was at the end of the line, and just ahead of me was Joe(brother), Andrew, and Spencer(Andrew and Spence are brothers). We’re chatting about random things, mostly about how high the zip-line is and making jokes about it and stuff. One of the people who was running the thing said that if you wanted to you could go without the harness. There were a couple of boys who were like “I can do it!”. Guess how long that lasted. Those “tough boys” got up there and immediately said they wanted the harness. Wimps.
I watched Spencer and Joe go down. I eventually got up there and got the harness on. I grabbed the handle, looked down, and jumped. It was SO FUN!! It felt so good to have the breeze in your face, considering it was about 83 degrees and we had just put together a pile of compost.
Afterwards, I decided that I was going to go down that thing with no harness. I went back up, grabbed the handles, looked down, and hesitated. Then I went down. It was even more fun! I was the 2nd person, I think, to go down without a harness. After I did it, Spencer decided he was going to do it too. I followed him up the stairs and stood behind him in line. After a little waiting it was his turn. He stood up there and eventually went down. I followed suit.
After that I went and hung out with Victoria and Christina who were taking pictures of random stuff. That was fun!
It was a lot of fun, and we learned a lot about compost. Whoo. I had a good time.
Made a compost. Zipped the zip line. Hung with friends. Laughed a laugh.
All was good.
Although I’m not allowed to watch these shows, my parents do through the computer(we don’t have cable) and I often hear the theme song. I love it.
I decided I was going to try to find the piano sheet music for it on the Internet. I couldn’t find it, at least not free anyway. So I watched a couple of YouTube videos, and learned it myself.
Now I can play all of it except the very last part, so it ends kind of suddenly.
Here is a video of me playing this totally sweet-awesome song.

Sorry. Livie just made me realize that I forgot to post the answer to the last question – Is there a 4th of July in England?
The answer is…yes. Big suprise.
There is a 4th of July in England, they just don’t celebrate Independence like we do.
I will post the next question in a couple of days, I’m working on Template Geek right now. Thanks!
I made a blog just for testing and messing with templates. I will put a post up for every one that I like with the link to it, and how to make it work on blogger. Right now I’m messing with it, but I’m going to start posting the ones I like. Go to templategeek.blogspot.com to see what I’m talking about. Thanks!!!
