I want to post about something, but I don’t really have anything to post about; so here’s a bit about my day at co-op yesterday.

After a no-rush-morning, we finally get to co-op(2 minutes down the road). My first class is Church History, so I go there and learn about…Church History. :) Actually, we learned a bit about King Charles. I enjoyed that class, as I do every week. My next class was drama, so after a 5 minute break talking with dear Lizzy, and newbie Shelby I headed off to drama. That was fun, too. We did an Improv thingie and we had to do a slide show of vacation that we went on with 2 narrators. It was really neat to see what the groups could come up with in 5 minutes(our time limit). We got off drama  5 minutes early, so we had about 10 minutes before we had to be in our next class. Lizzy was on her computer, and Becky was in the nursery watching the babys, so I talked with Josh about what his next class was because he seemed to disappear off the face of the earth during my next class. I asked him if it was ballet. Then Spencer came along, joining are laughter-filled conversation. After 10 minutes of jawing, we went to our classes; Josh – Guitar, and Spencer and I headed off to Creative Writing. We learned stuff. We had to do a circus performer thingie; some peoples were pretty funny! After creative writing is lunch; all the guy’s favorite. :) During that time I ate with Shelby, Jeremiah; Lizzy and Becky were on their computers next to us, and Josh, Spencer, and Christina showed up in the middle of our lunch and conversation. The conversation. What does dude mean? For your own sake, DON’T look it up! Nor a dudette; you will not be able to stop laughing! So, after that anyone who said “dude” made everyone who heard it laugh. The adults must of thought we were crazy. John came in during our conversation and laughter and after being called dude had no idea what was so funny. He probably thinks we’re insane; and we are.

After lunch I don’t really have a class, so I assist with organized sports. I went in there early and sat on the bleachers to have an observing moment. I stole a glance at Lizzy who was talking with Katie H. about something, probably school, she sent me a quick grin then went back to her conversation. I watch some of the guys pass a foot ball back and forth. At first it was just John and his younger brother, Luke, but then Josh joined in and of course Spencer followed. Spencer, exceptionally tall, John, the sport player,  Luke, good at getting the ball, and Josh, good at getting in the way of people trying to get the ball, were actually kind of funny to watch as they all joined together and played a make-shift game of football. I looked over to see Katie, who looks like my cousin, and Lizzy, fun-size, still chatting. I decided to go and see what they were talking about. Nothing, it turned out. Liz disappeared, and Katie started talking to me in Sign Language, which I understood and replied to. That’s pretty much what happened. There was another adult helping that day so I didn’t really have anything I needed to do. I just watched the kids, and teens, play kickball and four-square. After that was Spanish. Some how, to my horror(just kidding), I ended up in a kind of circle group of Katie H, Spencer, Josh, John, and I. We had to take a test. Then we had to hand them in. Then she handed them back out to random people. And we had to grade the random peoples paper. It was awesome.
I missed 8, or 9, out of the 26 questions, but half of them I didn’t know because I wasn’t there one week. (I was throwing up everywhere).
Spanish is my last class, but my mom is head of the cleaning people, so we are usually there for another 20-30 minutes, during which time I play piano with Becky. She is amazingly good at piano.

So…not very many of you probably read to here because of the total boringness of this post, but I want to remember the gifts God’s given me: Friends who love me…lots of friends whom are equally as special to me, and a great co-op where I can learn some of the things that wouldn’t be as fun to learn without them.

Just a note to my co-op friends; Liz, Katie, Becky, Katie H., Josh, Spencer, Victoria, Christina, John, Danny, Jake, Kevin, and many others…you guys are awesome, and I thank God that He has put y’all in my life. You guys have taught me many valuable lessons without even realizing it, and I thank you.
