I'll admit he wasn't the ugliest guy on the block, but he definitely didn't fit my idea of Caspian after reading the books. :-) Yes definitely! Edmund was awesome in the 1st AND 2nd! And I have never cared for Peter - either in the first movie or the second. I didnt care for Edmond in the first movie, but really liked him in the second - he was much more mature, humble, and wise than Peter could be. I heard, from Spencer(I think), that they dropped it and someone else picked it up. But, I have to disagree with the statement that the acting was good. I didn't like Barnes as Caspian; he just looked like a fake, and his accent was terrible, in my opinion. But, I guess that the rest of the acting was fair; perhaps it's the cheesiness of the wall between Caspian and Peter and the romance that was tossed in as a side effect that makes me have a distaste for the overall acting. I really liked Peter in the first one, I thought he was a very good leader and brother. Peter really disappointed me by being such a proud know-it-all, and very stuck up. Though once my favorite character, he has now relinquished that position to his brother, who turned out to be a much better king than Peter. *sigh* I agree with Katy, it was not THE worst, but definitely a terrible disappointment to me. The book was good, the movie was not. Disney is now a monster that seems to be absorbing all entertainment companies, so the world will turn sour soon enough.
